Application for search meaning of the code in geological code lists of CGS (litostratigraphy, stratigraphy and regional classification).

On-line geological encyclopedia application allows database based on publication "Malá encyklopedie geologie" (Small Geological Encyclopedy) which was published by prof. Jan Petránek in 1993. Publication was digitized with his support and supplemented by new terms. Illustrations was redrawn by J. Synek and some of terms has additional photos.

This application "Geologically documented objects" enables the user to buy his selected data from the database of the geologically documented objects of the Czech Republic (scil. borehole database) managed by the CGS using credit on his account. The database covers the territory of the CR and contains information on about 687 000 documented objects (boreholes, shafts, quarries, caves, wells, surface streams, reservoirs etc.) including 615 000 borehole profiles and 95 000 hydrogeological records. Map server application gives access to the results of the geological mapping of the Czech Republic at a scale of 1 : 25,000 (GEOCR25), which has been underway since 1999. Maps describe bedrock and quaternary geology, additional derived maps (mineral resources maps, maps of environmental geofactors) produced since 2008 are currently available for download as PDF files in Czech version.
